Food Cart
Officials at Oregon State University should consider stopping the food cart service on campus. Food carts and the food products they serve are a tremendous source of garbage and waste. Waste material including food waste, napkins, styrofoam
plates and cups, and so on create a heavy burden on campus cleaning crews. Furthermore, food carts on campus provide nothing but junk food and unhealthy food choices. Oregon State University students deserve to have healthier choices made available.

Animal Locomotion
Animals move for a variety of reasons, such as to find food, a mate, or a suitable microhabitat, and to escape predators. For many animals the ability to move is essential to survival and, as a result, selective pressures have shaped the locomotion methods and mechanisms employed by moving organisms. Locomotion requires energy to overcome friction, drag, inertia, and gravity, so in many circumstances animals will opt to make use of external forces such as gravity, buoyancy, or wind to their advantage to assist in low-energy locomotion.
