Maria Lopez (3:00 P.M.)
Hi John, did you see the new sale at the electronics store? The prices are unbelievable!
John Smith (3:05 P.M.)
Hey Maria, no I haven’t. Do you know if they have deals on laptops or smartphones?
Maria Lopez (3:07 P.M.)
They’re offering up to 70% off on selected items. I saw a laptop that was originally $1000, now it’s only $300! I saw a smartphone that’s normally $800 going for just $250.
John Smith (3:12 P.M.)
That’s impressive! Do you know if the sale is for today only?
Maria Lopez (3:15 P.M.)
I think it lasts until the end of the week. You should definitely check it out.
John Smith (3:17 P.M.)
Good idea. Do you think they’ll still have stock this evening?
Maria Lopez (3:20 P.M.)
It’s hard to say. These deals are really popular, but it’s worth a shot.
John Smith (3:20 P.M.)
Thanks for the heads-up!
