Reschedule Art Exhibit
Every year, university art students display their work at an exhibit during the last week before final exams. I strongly believe the art exhibit should be held a week or two earlier. The exhibit is usually excellent, and everybody should see it, but the last week of the semester is a bad time for students to attend, because we’re so involved with studying and preparing for exams. And it shouldn’t be too difficult to reschedule the event, since art students have the whole semester to work on their projects and could probably finish them earlier without any problems.
Sincerely,
Lisa Roth

Anecdotal Fallacy
People often make arguments or assertions without having sufficient evidence to support their claims. Sometimes, they base these claims on anecdotes, or personal stories, about their own or other people’s experiences. This is known as the anecdotal fallacy. When a person commits this fallacy, they make an error in reasoning, because it is not logical to assert that a claim is valid on the basis of a small number of personal stories. The evidence to support a general claim should extend beyond a few individuals’ experiences, since those experiences may have been unusual and may not be representative of most people’s experiences.
Explain how the example from the lecture illustrates the anecdotal fallacy.
Task4
Using the points and examples from the lecture, summarize the professor’s explanation of vertical farming.
