Sporting events like football and basketball games are an important part of college life. Unfortunately, many students don’t attend games on campus because of the cost of tickets. I believe that students shouldn’t have to pay for sporting events on campus. Since students already pay in order to attend the university, they shouldn’t need to pay extra for tickets for these events. Making these events free for students would also help increase attendance meaning that more people could go and cheer on our university’s great teams

Different species of plants growing in the same area often compete for resources that they need for survival. Certain plant species compete by producing and releasing chemicals that have an impact on nearby plants, a strategy known as chemical competition. The chemicals the plants release into the surrounding area negatively affect the growth of neighboring plants and decrease the other plants’ ability to use resources effectively, reducing their chances of survival. By engaging in chemical competition, a species may be able to thrive and sometimes evenren completely take over an area where other plants could normally grow
