Cancel the Poetry-Reading Club
I propose that the university cancel the poetry-reading club. The poetry-reading club attendance reached an all-time low this semester and fewer and fewer students have expressed interest in attending the weekly meetings. With so few students participating, there is really no purpose to this club. Students who desire to listen to poetry can easily go to the library to borrow CD recordings. The library has a large collection of poetry CDs that nobody is using. I see no real need to maintain an on-campus poetry-reading club.
