Create Bicycle-Borrowing Program

Although State University is located in an area where it is convenient and safe to ride bicycles, many students do not own bikes. I think the university should create a program in which students could borrow university-owned bicycles free of charge. If the university provided free bikes for students to borrow, it would reduce car traffic on campus, since more students would use bicycles instead of driving. Having bicycles available to them would also encourage students to get more exercise, which would be good for their health.

Tolerant Ecotypes

Animal and plant species may sometimes find that their living conditions become altered in ways that threaten their survival. It response to these new threats to their environment, certain members of the species may evolve or adapt to tolerate the harsh conditions. These unique members of the species are known as tolerant ecotypes.Once a member of a species develops this tolerance, it will pass the trait on to its offspring, eventually creating a distinct group of tolerant ecotypes within the species that are able to survive in an otherwise harmful environment

Using the example of the campion plant, explain what a tolerant ecotype is.
